Filming Running Hill

This was a clip which we decided to film for a part in the video where there is no lyrics, only fast beating music. We all thought that this needed some running to the beat of it and decided that a large group running down a hill would look as if they was running away from doing something wrong/ causing trouble. The stampede of girls running down the hill was filmed outside in our school grounds as it was the only place which we could get this number of people at some form of hill together, however this was not ideal as the hill was minimal and there was problems with the mise en scene such as poles and signs in the way.

The weather was also not on our side as it began to rain as soon as we got everyone to location, making the scene harder to film as it very slippery. It was due to this that unfortunately we were not able to film this any more than once as one of the girls fell over straight into the mud and the rest abandoned set with her !

We are not happy with this scene in the slightest and feel that despite it being a good idea, the clothing, brightness and mise en scene of the shot does not fit with out video. The only thing that does is that it is clear that these people are genuine friends running away from something ( which they were to get inside from the rain !)
