What have you learnt from your audience feedback ?
After completing our rough cut, we received audience feedback on this in order to find what was liked by our target audience and what they thought should be changed. Below you can see a group of girls from within our target audience watching our rough cut. The changes which we made to our rough cut were based largely on the opinion of this focus group which we carried out.
These are the scenes which we edited for our final cut.
I am unable to put the video on my blog due to it being too long however here is a screen shot of the group watching the video.
They though that the glitter on this was messy and did not match with the precise make up which can be seen on the rest of the video.
They thought that if we were going to include a view point scene there should actually be a view rather than the shot looking to a cliff.
They though that this scene was too dark in terms of location and clothing. They liked the concept of them running away from trouble but it did not match the bright colours in the rest of the video.
They thought that the costume of this character was wrong however said we should stick to the lyric reference of 'stocking ripped up the side,' as this works well.
Again they like the lyric reference to 'tearing it apart' however made the point that the brick wall background did not fit with the rest of the backgrounds we have used as it is too natural.
We have taken all of the feedback which we received from this group into account and have amended all of these scenes. We have incorporated new a new scene for the corridor scene, we did not think that there was any way we could change this and have created a scene where two models lift up their tops on a motorway bridge as this was a lot more fitting for our video theme.
Here are new scenes which we have added into our video.
