Draft CD Disk
After looking at the first draft of the disk we realized that the letter A being across the middle of the disk did not work as it was not obvious that the A was suppose to be there as you could not see enough of it. The change which we planned to make was moving the #HARD above the center and moving the ISLA up slightly. However after doing this we are not happy with the way the CD looks balanced as everything is too spread out and we feel that the title and artist name should be together.
Final CD Disk
Following that we have adapted the disk further and created this which we are a lot happier with. I feel that the balance on this version is right as well as the size of the text. I also feel as if the logos being vertical rather than horizontal works a lot better.
Even though this disk comes across as quite plain we did not want it to be too busy as it is going to e on top of an optical illusion which will bring it out more.
