Clothing Research

After researching the type of video which we will be creating, we have begun to look into the costume type that our main character and extras in the video will be wearing. From the videos that we have focused our research, it has become apparent that music videos of this type use a large amount of block colour , as well as sticking largely to quite a basic and specif colour scheme.

The style of clothing that we will be dressing our main model in for the video has a link of the message of youth and rebellion that we are conveying throughout. Slightly provocative outfits is another way that we will use irony to represent the stereotype of youth that is portrayed in the media.

Below are some gifs which I have created showing images from videos similar to what we aim to create. They contain images of the clothing  that the main charterers in these videos are wearing which is a similar style to what we will convey in our video. Due to the complexity and large amount of colours that we plan to use in our video we will be keeping the clothing to a basic standard and will keep a colour scheme of white, black and red throughout.
